Dont need that old device? Save it from landfill!

E-waste is considered the “fastest-growing waste stream in the world”[8] with 44.7 million tonnes generated in 2016- equivalent to 4500 Eiffel towers.[3] In 2018, an estimated 50 million tonnes of e-waste was reported, thus the name ‘tsunami of e-waste’ given by the UN.[8] Its value is at least $62.5 billion annually.[8]

Secure disposal of EWaste

Before repurposing or recylcing an old device. Stop and consider – is the device wiped? Just because it might not be turning on doesnt mean that a bad actor cant get data from it. We can secure wipe an old device so that your data is safe – we also provide reciept of proof for the data erase for peace of mind showing the date, time, and method for the erase.

How you can help.

One of the easiest ways to do your part to minimise E-Waste is to keep your device out of the bin. It might be too slow, or maybe its starting to do strange things. The good news is that we can identify aged components that could be used in other systems – the main goal being that the device can be saved from landfill, while providing for a cheap way for someone to get into tech. Remember that just because a device might be slow for one user, it could still be useable for another user that isnt performing as demanding tasks, like surfing the web!
