3D Printing a smart doorbell backing plate.
Fusion 360 for the win!

3D printing has its shortcomings, but where it shines is in its ability to print missing or broken parts.
I needed to print a fresh backing plate for a smart doorbell. So here are the steps I used.

Download fusion360 – you can use it for free if you are only using it in a hobby capacity!
Draw up you design – There are tutorials online that will help you learn how to do this – be patient, this takes time depending on how complex your project is!

Send your design to your slicer of choice – I like to use CURA – here is a link to their website:
Test your print, tweak, and repeat!
